We are excited to announce Dr. Alison Edgecomb has completed her additional training in ‘Neurodevelopmental Protective Care’ for mothers and babies and is now an accredited practitioner in the Possums Program (https://possumsonline.com/).
This program is aimed at providing care, particularly in the first year of life, around problems including:
- Breastfeeding issues (enabling effective and pain-free breastfeeding and managing problems such as mastitis, nipple pain, or low supply
- Sleep problems – cry/fuss problems (including ‘reflux’ and ‘colic’)
Appointments are available on a Thursday afternoon and initial consultations are 1 hour. It is likely a minimum of 2 sessions will be needed to get the most out of the education and interventions provided.
