Dr Matt Del Fante

Matt joined Crafter Medical Centre in 2016 as a practice principal. He studied Medicine at the University of Adelaide, graduating in 2009. After completing his internship and a resident year at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, he worked full time as a surgical assistant for a time before completing a residency year in Paediatrics at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

Matt was a registrar at the practice in 2013, before leaving to complete his General Practice Training. He was fortunate to work along side and learn from doctors experienced in skin cancer surgery throughout his training and has continued to upskill in this area.

He enjoys all aspects of general practice, with a particular interest in paediatrics and skin cancer medicine. He offers comprehensive skin checks and has experience with a broad range of minor surgical procedures.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his young family, flying taildraggers as a recreational pilot and other outdoor pursuits.
